NEW ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDS
Ashley O’Connor, a Woodworking and Engineering teacher at New Canaan High School, and sophomores in the tree Andrew DeFranco (l.) and Miles Turpin (r.) created attractive wooden signage directing children and their parents to the New Canaan Garden Club’s Children’s Mushroom Maze in Irwin Park.
The New Canaan Garden Club’s spring fundraising event, New Canaan in Bloom, generated funds to support the restoration of the Peony Walk at Waveny Park, and the civic beautification and educational outreach activities of the NCGC. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the Food Pantry Garden located at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
