Support the Irwin Park Restoration Project!

For 20 years, the open lawns, spring daffodils, and walking trails at Irwin Park have offered a daily reminder of what makes New Canaan so exceptional. Today, the New Canaan Garden Club invites you to help write its next chapter.

Friends of Irwin Park, an initiative of the New Canaan Garden Club, is proud to lead the Irwin Park Restoration Project — a community-driven effort to restore and protect this treasured landscape for future generations.

Over time, invasive plants have disrupted the park’s diversity of native trees, wildflowers, and pollinators. Left unmanaged, this loss will continue to erase the natural beauty and habitat that makes Irwin Park so special. Your support of the Irwin Park Restoration Project will help us:

      • Remove invasive species responsibly and sustainably
      • Replant native meadows, trees, and gardens
      • Reimagine and create a resilient landscape that fosters ecological diversity, protects pollinators, and inspires visitors.

100% of your donation will go directly to the Irwin Park Restoration Project, ensuring that the landscape you love today will be even more vibrant, welcoming, and resilient for all to cherish in the years to come.

Together, we can ensure Irwin Park remains a place of natural beauty and community pride — a legacy that honors the spirit of New Canaan itself.
