NCGC Reimagined Market

The New Canaan Garden Club (NCGC) is thrilled to announce its inaugural event, “Reimagined Market,” a unique Plant Sale and Market extravaganza to be held at the Carriage Barn Arts Center front terrace on Saturday, May 4th, from 9am to 2pm. This one-of-a-kind event promises to delight plant enthusiasts and gardeners. The sale will feature a diverse array of live plants, cut flower arrangements, succulent creations, herb boxes, organic heirloom tomatoes, photocards, pot de fleur, as well as a selection of gently used garden and botanical items, books, and more.

“This is a milestone moment for the New Canaan Garden Club,” says Club Co-President Julie Marcus. “We’re excited to showcase the exceptional talents of our members and offer the community an opportunity to acquire unique, handcrafted items just in time to celebrate Mother’s Day.”

Known for its dedication to conservation and beautification projects in the community, NCGC is committed to preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of New Canaan’s public spaces. Funds raised from the “Reimagined Market” will go toward the NCGC’s Civic Fund supporting initiatives such as Irwin Park, New Canaan Museum and Historical Society Colonial Garden, Waveny Walled Garden and our Horticultural Therapy programs.

“By participating in the ‘Reimagined Market,’ attendees will not only find exquisite botanical treasures but also contribute to our ongoing enhancement of Irwin Park,” adds Wendy Dewey Club Co-President. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase our club members’ talents, indulge in garden-inspired delights, and give back to our community.”

The creativity of NCGC members is boundless, ensuring that the “Reimagined Market” will feature an array of high-quality, handcrafted items that will thrill attendees. Whether you’re seeking the perfect gift for Mother’s Day or looking to add a touch of greenery to your home, this event promises something for everyone.
